The Perfect Pitch – One Day Qualifying Event
August 10, 2011- Bashaw Agricultural Grounds
Part 1 – Qualifying Round (preliminaries)
1:00 pm : Seniors (20 - 35 years) ) 3:30 pm : Juniors (16 – 19 years) **
1. Run all entrants through a qualifying round (similar to judging competition)
2. 2 panels of judges, one for the juniors and one for seniors (different people that the
finals judges)
3. Jr. Round – Five finalists move through to the evening finals. Sr. Round – Ten finalistsmove through to the evening finals4. Announce Finalists after panels deliberate
Part 2 – Evening Finals
6:30 pm : Junior (16 - 19 years) ) 7:30 pm : Seniors (20 - 35 years) **
1. Judging panel of 3-4 business experts2. Run through the five Jr. Finalists first3. Run through the ten Sr. Finalists second4. Judges Deliberate5. Milk and Cookie Bar opens for a social time between partners, sponsors, competitorsand spectators6. Presentation of 15 qualifier prize packs7. Announcement of six finalists (5 Sr. & 1 Jr.) advancing to the Final Pitch Competition and awarding of the six Business Booster Packs
Over $12,000 in qualifying prizes!!! With a $25,000 cash award for the winner!
